Class/Race Restrictions


In Balekatheir, there are restrictions to class and race. This is a hearkening back to the old days on my part, but I based it off of the idea that certain races are able to take up classes that others can’t.

So, here’s the list of Restrictions. This may be updated as more races come into play, or changed as I edit it.

Fighter | Any | Trained man-at-arms
Wizard | Humans, Gnomes, Elves, Ethrens | Scholarly magic-caster
Rogue | Humans, Halflings, Orcs, Elves | Skilled thief, agent or thug
Ranger | Humans, Dayvle, Halflings, Elves, Dwarf | Skilled Hunter
Barbarian | Humans, Dayvle, Orcs, Arcadians, Dwarf | Warriors who embrace their fury
Cleric | Any | Channeler of divine power
Paladin | Humans | Heroic warrior of good
Duskblade | Gnomes, Elves | Fighter that channels innate arcane magic
Bard | Humans, Gnomes, Halflings, Elves, Ethren | Minstrel who weaves magic in song
Monk | Humans, Arcadians, Ethren | Disciplined martial artist
Druid | Humans, Dayvle, Orcs, Elves | Warrior and worshiper of nature
Psion | Dayvle, Arcadians | Casters of mind-magic
Psychic Warrior | Humans, Dayvle, Elves, Arcadians | Warrior that fuses mind and body
Scout | Humans, Gnomes, Halflings, Orcs, Dwarf | Organized, mobile warrior
Necroblade | Humans, Gnomes, Halflings, Elves | Warriors who utilize Nether
Manablade | Ethren |Warriors who utilize Aether
Sorcerer | Halflings, Ethren, Dwarves | Innate Magicians
